How to Install Mac OS X on PC

How to Install Mac OS X on PC

OS X is the operating system that comes with Macintosh computers and is designed to work only with Mac devices. But despite being made to work only with Mac computers, OS X can be installed and used on ordinary PCs.
Assemble a desktop computer with specs very similar to a Mac computer running on OS X. Be mindful that the minimum requirements of the operating system should be met in order for it to work.

Purchase a retail DVD copy of Mac OS X.

Create a boot disk. This will allow you to boot into the installation menu of OS X. There are several boot loader apps you can use over the Internet, one of which is iBoot.
   ·  You can create a boot disk either on CD or a flash drive.

Access the BIOS of the computer you’re installing the OS X on.

Set the boot sequence. Do this so that the computer will boot from the CD/DVD drive first.

Look for the “SATA Control Mode” in the BIOS. It is usually under the Peripherals or Configurations tab. Set it to “AHCI”.
  ·  Note that the location of this setting will vary depending on the type of BIOS your motherboard has.

Save the changes made on the BIOS. Insert the boot disk and restart the computer.
Wait for the boot disk to load.

Replace with the DVD. Once the boot disk loads, remove it from the drive and replace it with the OS X retail DVD.

Wait for a few moment and press F5 on your keyboard.
Press Enter. Once the name of the DVD appears on the boot loader screen, press Enter and the language screen will appear.

Create a hard disk partition. After selecting your language, create a hard disk partition. Go to Utilities > Disk Utility. Select the hard drive and click “Partition.”

Enter the name of the new volume you created. Choose “Mac OS Extended (journaled)” for the format.

Select “GUID Partition Table.” Select “Options” at the lower part of the window and select the “GUID Partition Table” radio button

Press "OK."

Click on “Apply.” Proceed with the installation process.

Reboot your computer. Once the installation finishes, replace the boot disk into the drive and reboot your computer.

Select the partition. The partition you’ve just created and installed the OS X in will now be displayed on the boot loader screen. Select the partition and OS X will start.

Open Safari and download Multibeast. This tool allows you to start your computer without    having to use any boot loader.

Configure the Installation Setup. Open Multibeast and enable        the following settings under Installation Type:

  ·         UserDSDT
  ·          System Utilities
  ·        Advanced Options > Kexts > Audio > LegacyHDA > ALC889
  ·         Advanced Options > Kexts > Graphics > NVEnabler
  ·         Advanced Options > Kexts > Network > RealtekR1000SL
  ·     Advanced Options > Patched Kernels > 10.3.1 Supported Kernel

Restart the computer. After setting up Multibeast, restart your
computer and you can now begin using OS X on a PC
